Ruling the earth is as fleeting as a cloud blown by the wind; sensual pleasure is sweet only at first taste; life trembles like a drop of water on a blade of grass. Dharma alone is our true friend on the final journey.

What it means
Power, pleasure and even life are passing things. What stays with you is the goodness you lived by. Build your life around that; it is the one companion that never leaves.

Spoken by Durdarshi the vulture.
