balah payasadagdho dadhy-api phootkritya bhakshayati
दुर्जनदूषितमनसः सुजनेष्वपि नास्ति विश्वासः।
बालः पायसदग्धो दध्यपि फूत्कृत्य भक्षयति॥
Someone whose mind has been hurt by bad people cannot trust even good people. A child once burnt by hot milk-pudding blows even on cold curd before eating it.
