धनेन किं यो न ददाति नाश्नुते बलेन किं यश्च रिपून्न बाधते।
श्रुतेन किं यो न च धर्ममाचरेत्किमात्मना यो न जितेन्द्रियो भवेत्॥
What is the use of wealth if you neither give nor enjoy it? Of strength if you never stand up to what threatens you? Of learning if you never live by it? Of a self that has not mastered its senses?
What it means
Every gift is meant to be used. Money should flow, strength should protect, knowledge should guide your actions, and self-control should make you free. Unused potential is wasted potential.हिंदी में अर्थ
उस धन का क्या लाभ जो न दिया जाए न भोगा जाए? उस बल का क्या जो दुश्मनों को न रोके? उस ज्ञान का क्या जिस पर आचरण न हो? उस जीवन का क्या जिसमें इंद्रियों पर काबू न हो?
हर उपहार उपयोग के लिए है। पैसा बहे, ताकत रक्षा करे, ज्ञान आचरण बने और संयम आज़ाद करे। बेकार पड़ी क्षमता व्यर्थ है।
