nirvishesho yada raja samam sarveshu vartate
tad-odyamasamarthanam utsahah pariheeyate
निर्विशेषो यदा राजा समं सर्वेषु वर्तते।
तदोद्यमसमर्थानामुत्साहः परिहीयते॥
When a ruler makes no distinction and treats everyone exactly the same, the enthusiasm of those who are capable of real effort fades away.
What it means
Fairness is not the same as treating everyone identically. Good leaders notice and reward real effort and talent. If hard work goes unrecognised, the best people quietly stop trying.हिंदी में अर्थ
