bhavamah kim na ten-aiva dhanena dhanino vayam
दानोपभोगहीनेन धनेन धनिनो यदि।
भवामः किं न तेनैव धनेन धनिनो वयम्॥
If people become rich through wealth they neither give nor enjoy, then why aren't we rich through that very same wealth too?
