Bhai Dooj 2026 in Nairobi

Bhai Dooj, on the second day of the bright half of Kartik, closes the Diwali festival and celebrates the love between brothers and sisters. Sisters apply a tilak and pray for their brothers' long life; it is Bhau Beej in Maharashtra, Bhai Phonta in Bengal and Bhai Tika in Nepal.

Yamuna's invitation to her brother
