Chanakya Niti 7.20 meaning
vacham shaucham cha manasah shaucham indriyanigrahah
sarvabhootadaya-shaucham etach chaucham pararthinam
वाचां शौचं च मनसः शौचमिन्द्रियनिग्रहः ।
सर्वभूतदयाशौचमेतच्छौचं परार्थिनाम् ॥
Purity of speech, purity of mind, control of the senses, and compassion for all living beings — this is the purity of those who seek the highest.
