Chanakya Niti 6.7 meaning
kalah pachati bhootani kalah sanharate prajah
kalah supteshu jagarti kalo hi duratikramah
कालः पचति भूतानि कालः संहरते प्रजाः ।
कालः सुप्तेषु जागर्ति कालो हि दुरतिक्रमः ॥
Time ripens all beings, and time takes them away. Time stays awake while everyone sleeps. Truly, no one can escape time.

काल सब प्राणियों को पकाता है, काल ही सबका अंत करता है। सब सोते हैं, पर काल जागता रहता है। काल से कोई नहीं बच सकता।
समय हमेशा चलता रहता है, चाहे हम ध्यान दें या नहीं। उसका सम्मान करो। आज को अच्छे से जियो, क्योंकि टालते या सोते समय भी घड़ी चलती रहती है।
