Chanakya Niti 6.16 meaning

prabhootam karyam alpam va yan narah kartum ichchati sarvarambhena tat karyam sinhad ekam prachakshate
प्रभूतं कार्यमल्पं वा यन्नरः कर्तुमिच्छति । सर्वारम्भेण तत्कार्यं सिंहादेकं प्रचक्षते ॥

Whatever task a person wants to do, big or small, should be done with full effort from the very start. This is the one lesson to learn from the lion.

What it means
Half-hearted starts lead to half-hearted results. Whether the task is huge or tiny, commit fully once you begin. A lion gives everything to every chase; that intensity is what makes it king.
