Chanakya Niti 5.17 meaning
nasti meghasamam toyam nasti ch-atmasamam balam
nasti chakshuhsamam tejo nasti dhanyasamam priyam
नास्ति मेघसमं तोयं नास्ति चात्मसमं बलम् ।
नास्ति चक्षुःसमं तेजो नास्ति धान्यसमं प्रियम् ॥
There is no water like rainwater, no strength like your own strength, no light like that of the eyes, and nothing as precious as grain.

Value the basics: clean water, your own capability, your eyesight and food on the table. Above all, rely on your own strength; borrowed power can always be withdrawn.हिंदी में अर्थ
बादल के पानी जैसा कोई जल नहीं, अपने बल जैसा कोई बल नहीं, आँखों जैसी कोई रोशनी नहीं और अनाज जैसी कोई प्रिय वस्तु नहीं।
बुनियादी चीज़ों की क़द्र करो—साफ़ पानी, अपनी क्षमता, आँखों की रोशनी और थाली का भोजन। सबसे बढ़कर अपने बल पर भरोसा करो; उधार की ताक़त कभी भी छिन सकती है।
