Chanakya Niti 3.10 meaning
tyajed ekam kulasy-arthe gramasy-arthe kulam tyajet
gramam janapadasy-arthe atm-arthe prithiveem tyajet
त्यजेदेकं कुलस्यार्थे ग्रामस्यार्थे कुलं त्यजेत् ।
ग्रामं जनपदस्यार्थे आत्मार्थे पृथिवीं त्यजेत् ॥
Give up one person to save the family, the family to save the village, the village to save the country, and the whole earth to save your own self.
What it means
Hard choices need clear priorities: the larger good outweighs the smaller, and your inner integrity outweighs everything. Never trade your conscience for any gain, however big it looks.हिंदी में अर्थ
परिवार के लिए एक को छोड़ दो, गाँव के लिए परिवार को, देश के लिए गाँव को, और अपनी आत्मा के लिए पूरी पृथ्वी को छोड़ दो।
कठिन फ़ैसलों में प्राथमिकता साफ़ होनी चाहिए। बड़ा हित छोटे से ऊपर है, और अपनी अंतरात्मा सबसे ऊपर। किसी भी लाभ के बदले अपना ज़मीर मत बेचो।
