Chanakya Niti 2.6 meaning
na vishvaset kumitre cha mitre ch-api na vishvaset
kadachit kupitam mitram sarvam guhyam prakashayet
न विश्वसेत्कुमित्रे च मित्रे चापि न विश्वसेत् ।
कदाचित्कुपितं मित्रं सर्वं गुह्यं प्रकाशयेत् ॥
Do not trust a false friend, and do not blindly trust even a good friend. If that friend ever becomes angry, they might reveal all your secrets.
What it means
Friendship is precious, but keep your deepest vulnerabilities guarded. Relationships change, and anger can turn close confidants into critics. Share with care, especially secrets that could hurt you.हिंदी में अर्थ
बुरे मित्र पर भरोसा मत करो, और अच्छे मित्र पर भी आँख मूँदकर भरोसा मत करो। कभी वह नाराज़ हो गया तो तुम्हारे सारे राज़ खोल सकता है।
मित्रता क़ीमती है, पर अपनी सबसे नाज़ुक बातें संभालकर रखो। रिश्ते बदलते हैं और गुस्से में करीबी भी राज़ खोल देते हैं। सोच-समझकर ही भेद बाँटो।
