Chanakya Niti 16.18 meaning
sansaravisha-vrikshasya dve phale amritopame
subhashitam cha susvadu sangatih sujane jane
संसारविषवृक्षस्य द्वे फले अमृतोपमे।
सुभाषितं च सुस्वादु सङ्गतिः सुजने जने॥
The world is like a poisonous tree, but it bears two fruits as sweet as nectar: delightful, wise words, and the company of good people.
What it means

यह संसार ज़हरीले पेड़ जैसा है, पर इस पर अमृत जैसे दो फल लगते हैं: मीठे और ज्ञान भरे वचन, और सज्जनों की संगत।
ज़िंदगी में कड़वाहट, तनाव और निराशा बहुत है। पर अच्छी बातें और अच्छे लोग इसके सबसे मीठे फल हैं। जब मन भारी हो, इन्हें ढूँढो, ये सोच से ज़्यादा राहत देते हैं।
