Chanakya Niti 1.8 meaning
yasmin deshe na sammano na vrittir na cha bandhavah
na cha vidyagamopy asti vasam tatra na karayet
यस्मिन्देशे न सम्मानो न वृत्तिर्न च बान्धवाः ।
न च विद्यागमोऽप्यस्ति वासं तत्र न कारयेत् ॥
Do not settle in a place where you get no respect, no way to earn a living, no friends or family, and no chance to learn anything.
What it means
Where you live shapes who you become. Choose a city, job or circle that offers respect, livelihood, support and growth. If a place gives you none of these, it is time to move on.हिंदी में अर्थ
जहाँ न सम्मान मिले, न रोज़ी-रोटी, न अपने लोग हों और न ही कुछ सीखने का अवसर, वहाँ रहना नहीं चाहिए।
जहाँ हम रहते हैं, वही हमें गढ़ता है। ऐसी जगह, नौकरी या संगत चुनो जहाँ सम्मान, कमाई, साथ और सीखने का मौका हो। जहाँ ये न हों, वहाँ से आगे बढ़ जाओ।
