पश्चाज्जीवति जर्जरदेहे वार्तां कोऽपि न पृच्छति गेहे॥
As long as a person is busy earning money, the family stays fond of them. Later, when they live on in a worn-out body, nobody at home even asks how they are.
What it means
A painful but honest observation: much affection is tied to usefulness. Do not build your sense of worth only on being a provider. And make sure you are never the one who stops asking about the elderly at home.हिंदी में अर्थ
