vayasi gate kah kamavikarah shushke neere kah kasarah
ksheene vitte kah parivarah jnate tattve kah sansarah
वयसि गते कः कामविकारः शुष्के नीरे कः कासारः।
क्षीणे वित्ते कः परिवारः ज्ञाते तत्त्वे कः संसारः॥
When youth is gone, where is passion? When the water dries up, where is the lake? When wealth is gone, where is the crowd of relatives? When truth is known, where is the cycle of worldly life?
What it means
Many things exist only because something else holds them up. When the support goes, they vanish. In the same way, once you truly see what is real, the anxieties of worldly life lose their hold.हिंदी में अर्थ
जवानी चली जाए तो वासना कहाँ? पानी सूख जाए तो तालाब कहाँ? धन ख़त्म हो जाए तो रिश्तेदारों की भीड़ कहाँ? और सत्य जान लिया जाए तो संसार का बंधन कहाँ?
बहुत सी चीज़ें किसी और के सहारे टिकी होती हैं। सहारा हटे तो वे गायब हो जाती हैं। उसी तरह, जब सच दिख जाता है, तो सांसारिक चिंताओं की पकड़ छूट जाती है।
