jijeevishe n-aham ih-amuya kim antar bahish ch-avritay-ebhayonya
ichchami kalena na yasya viplavas tasy-atmalok-avaranasya moksham
जिजीविषे नाहमिहामुया किमन्तर्बहिश्चावृतयेभयोन्या।
इच्छामि कालेन न यस्य विप्लवस्तस्यात्मलोकावरणस्य मोक्षम्॥
I do not wish to live on, here or after. What use is this elephant life, covered inside and out by ignorance? I want freedom from that covering over the self, which time itself does not destroy.

संकट में गजेंद्र केवल बचने की नहीं, सच्ची आज़ादी की माँग करता है। मुश्किल समय यह साफ कर देता है कि हम जीवन से असल में क्या चाहते हैं।
