Srimad Bhagavatam 7.8.11 meaning
dasyoon pura shan na vijitya lumpato manyanta eke svajita disho dasha
jitatmano jnasya samasya dehinam sadhoh svamohaprabhavah kutah pare
दस्यून्पुरा षण्न विजित्य लुम्पतो मन्यन्त एके स्वजिता दिशो दश।
जितात्मनो ज्ञस्य समस्य देहिनां साधोः स्वमोहप्रभवाः कुतः परे॥
Some, without first conquering the six thieves within, think they have conquered all ten directions. But for a wise, self-controlled person who sees all beings equally, where are the enemies born of one's own confusion?
What it means
Conquering markets or rivals means little if desire, anger and greed still rule you. Real victory is inner; once won, outer enemies lose much of their power.हिंदी में अर्थ
कुछ लोग भीतर के छह चोरों को जीते बिना सोचते हैं कि उन्होंने दसों दिशाएँ जीत लीं। पर जिसने खुद को जीता है, जो सबको समान देखता है, उस ज्ञानी के लिए अपने भ्रम से पैदा हुए शत्रु कहाँ?
बाज़ार या प्रतिद्वंद्वी जीतने का कम अर्थ है अगर इच्छा, क्रोध और लोभ अब भी आप पर राज करते हैं। असली जीत भीतर की है; वह मिल जाए तो बाहर के शत्रु कमज़ोर पड़ जाते हैं।
