Srimad Bhagavatam 4.9.17 meaning
satyashisho hi bhagavans tava padapadmam ashees tath-anubhajatah purusharthamoorteh
apy evam arya bhagavan paripati deenan vashr-eva vatsakam anugrahakatarosman
सत्याशिषो हि भगवंस्तव पादपद्ममाशीस्तथानुभजतः पुरुषार्थमूर्तेः।
अप्येवमर्य भगवान्परिपाति दीनान्वाश्रेव वत्सकमनुग्रहकातरोऽस्मान्॥
Lord, the true blessing is your lotus feet themselves, for one who worships you without desire. Yet, though this is so, you still protect helpless people like us, as a cow lovingly protects her calf.
What it means
Dhruva came seeking a kingdom and found love. Even when our motives are mixed, grace meets us gently, like a mother cow with her calf. You do not have to be perfect to be cared for.हिंदी में अर्थ
हे भगवन, निष्काम भजन करने वाले के लिए आपके चरण-कमल ही सच्चा आशीर्वाद हैं। फिर भी आप दया से व्याकुल होकर हम जैसे दीनों की रक्षा करते हैं, जैसे गाय अपने बछड़े की।
ध्रुव राज्य माँगने आए थे और प्रेम पा गए। जब हमारे इरादे मिले-जुले हों, तब भी कृपा कोमलता से मिलती है, जैसे गाय बछड़े से। देखभाल पाने के लिए पूर्ण होना ज़रूरी नहीं।
