Srimad Bhagavatam 4.22.30 meaning
indriyair vishayakrishtair akshiptam dhyayatam manah
chetanam harate buddheh stambas toyam iva hradat
When the mind keeps dwelling on sense objects, pulled by the senses, it steals the awareness of the intellect, just as clumps of grass slowly draw the water from a lake.
What it means
Constant distraction quietly drains your clarity, like grass soaking up a pond. You may not notice the loss day to day. Guarding your attention protects your wisdom.
Spoken by Sanatkumara.
