Srimad Bhagavatam 3.29.23 meaning

dvishatah parakaye mam manino bhinnadarshinah bhooteshu baddhavairasya na manah shantim richchati

One who hates me as I dwell in others' bodies, who is proud, sees division everywhere and holds grudges against beings, never finds peace of mind.

What it means
Grudges and contempt keep the mind in constant war. Peace is impossible while we nurse hatred. Letting go of enmity is first a gift to ourselves.

Spoken by Kapila.
