Srimad Bhagavatam 3.29.12 meaning
lakshanam bhaktiyogasya nirgunasya hy-udahritam
ahaituky-avyavahita ya bhaktih purushottame
लक्षणं भक्तियोगस्य निर्गुणस्य ह्युदाहृतम्।
अहैतुक्यव्यवहिता या भक्तिः पुरुषोत्तमे॥
The mark of pure devotion, beyond the three gunas, is this: love for the Supreme Person that has no ulterior motive and is never interrupted.
What it means
Pure love has two signs: it asks for nothing, and it doesn't stop. That is a useful test for any relationship we value, not just with God.हिंदी में अर्थ
गुणों से परे शुद्ध भक्ति का लक्षण यही है: परम पुरुष के प्रति ऐसा प्रेम जिसमें कोई स्वार्थ न हो और जो कभी न टूटे।
शुद्ध प्रेम के दो लक्षण हैं: वह कुछ नहीं माँगता, और वह रुकता नहीं। यह कसौटी केवल भगवान से रिश्ते के लिए नहीं, हर प्रिय रिश्ते के लिए काम की है।
