Srimad Bhagavatam 3.25.24 meaning
ta ete sadhavah sadhvi sarvasangavivarjitah
sangas teshv-atha te prarthyah sangadoshahara hi te
त एते साधवः साध्वि सर्वसङ्गविवर्जिताः।
सङ्गस्तेष्वथ ते प्रार्थ्यः सङ्गदोषहरा हि ते॥
Such holy people, good mother, are free from all attachments. You should seek their company, for they remove the harm caused by bad company.

हे साध्वी माँ, ऐसे साधु सब प्रकार की आसक्ति से मुक्त होते हैं। तुम्हें उनका संग चाहना चाहिए, क्योंकि वे बुरी संगति के दोष दूर करते हैं।
संगति का असर फैलता है। शांत, सौम्य लोगों के साथ समय बुरी संगति से हुए नुकसान को मिटाता है। अपने साथियों को भोजन की तरह सावधानी से चुनिए।
