chetah khalv-asya bandhaya muktaye chatmano matam
guneshu saktam bandhaya ratam va punsi muktaye
The mind is said to be the cause of both bondage and freedom for the soul. Attached to worldly things, it binds; devoted to the Supreme Person, it frees.
What it means
The same mind that traps you can set you free. It all depends on where you place it. Learning to steer your attention may be the most important skill you ever build.
