Srimad Bhagavatam 2.9.32 meaning
aham evasam evagre nanyad yat sad asat param
pashchad aham yad etach cha yovashishyeta sosmy-aham
Before creation, I alone existed, and nothing else, neither the manifest nor the unmanifest nor their cause. After creation, I am all this; and what remains when everything dissolves, that too am I.
What it means
This is the first of the four core verses of the Bhagavatam. Beneath every change there is one unchanging reality. Things come and go, but the ground they stand on remains.
Spoken by Vishnu.
