Srimad Bhagavatam 2.3.17 meaning

ayur harati vai punsam udyann astam cha yann asau tasy-arte yatkshano neeta uttamashlokavartaya

Rising and setting, the sun steals away the lifespan of everyone, except the moments spent in conversation about the Lord of glorious fame.

What it means
Every sunrise and sunset quietly takes a day from us. The only time that isn't lost is time spent on what is truly meaningful. Ask yourself what today is being spent on.

Spoken by Shaunaka.
