Srimad Bhagavatam 12.12.48 meaning

sankeertyamano bhagavan anantah shrutanubhavo vyasanam hi punsam pravishya chittam vidhunoty ashesham yatha tamorkobhram iv-ativatah

When the infinite Lord is sung about and his glory heard, he enters the heart and completely wipes away people's sorrows, just as the sun removes darkness and a strong wind scatters clouds.

What it means
Sorrow can feel like a heavy cloud that will never move. But clouds do pass. Filling the heart with something uplifting can clear the sky faster than we expect.
