Srimad Bhagavatam 11.3.40 meaning

yarhy abjanabhacharan-aishanay-orubhaktya chetomalani vidhamed gunakarmajani tasmin vishuddha upalabhyata atmatattvam sakshad yath-amaladrishoh savitriprakashah

When strong devotion, born of longing for the lotus-naveled Lord's feet, washes away the dirt in the mind created by our tendencies and actions, then in that pure mind the truth of the self is seen directly, just as clear eyes see the sunlight.

What it means
Truth is not hidden; our vision is clouded. When love and sincere practice clear the mind, what was always there becomes obvious, like sunlight to clean eyes.

Spoken by Pippalayana.
