Srimad Bhagavatam 11.2.2 meaning

Your majesty, death surrounds us on every side. What person with working senses would not worship the lotus feet of Mukunda, whom even the greatest gods adore?

What it means
Life is fragile and time is limited. With that in view, it makes sense to spend our days on what is lasting and meaningful, rather than letting them slip by in distraction.
