Srimad Bhagavatam 11.14.21 meaning
bhakty-aham ekaya grahyah shraddhay-atma priyah satam
bhaktih punati mannishtha shvapakan api sambhavat
भक्त्याहमेकया ग्राह्यः श्रद्धयात्मा प्रियः सताम्।
भक्तिः पुनाति मन्निष्ठा श्वपाकानपि सम्भवात्॥
I am reached only through single-minded devotion and faith. I am the dear Self of good people. Devotion fixed on me purifies everyone, even those born in the humblest circumstances.
What it means
Krishna tells Uddhava that no birth or background blocks the way to the divine. Love and faith are open to all. Where you come from matters less than where your heart is turned.हिंदी में अर्थ
मैं केवल एकनिष्ठ भक्ति और श्रद्धा से ही मिलता हूँ। मैं सज्जनों की प्रिय आत्मा हूँ। मुझमें लगी भक्ति सबसे साधारण परिस्थिति में जन्मे लोगों को भी पवित्र कर देती है।
कृष्ण उद्धव से कहते हैं कि कोई जन्म या पृष्ठभूमि भगवान तक पहुँचने में रुकावट नहीं। प्रेम और श्रद्धा सबके लिए खुले हैं। तुम कहाँ से आए, उससे ज़्यादा मायने रखता है कि दिल किधर है।
