amany-amatsaro daksho nirmamo dridhasauhridah
asatvarorthajijnasur anasooyur amoghavak
अमान्यमत्सरो दक्षो निर्ममो दृढसौहृदः।
असत्वरोऽर्थजिज्ञासुरनसूयुरमोघवाक्॥
A seeker should be free of pride and envy, skilful, free of possessiveness, firm in friendship, unhurried, eager to understand the truth, free of fault-finding, and should never speak idle words.
What it means
A simple checklist for a good student of life: humble, capable, loyal, patient, curious, generous in judgment, and careful with words. Each of these is worth practising daily.हिंदी में अर्थ
साधक को अभिमान और ईर्ष्या से रहित, कुशल, ममता-रहित, मित्रता में दृढ़, धैर्यवान, सत्य को जानने का इच्छुक, दूसरों में दोष न देखने वाला और व्यर्थ न बोलने वाला होना चाहिए।
जीवन के अच्छे विद्यार्थी के लिए सरल सूची: विनम्र, कुशल, निष्ठावान, धैर्यवान, जिज्ञासु, उदार दृष्टि वाला और शब्दों में सावधान। इनमें से हर गुण का रोज़ अभ्यास करने लायक है।
