Srimad Bhagavatam 10.81.36 meaning
tasy-aiva me sauhridasakhyamaitree-dasyam punar janmani janmani syat
mahanubhavena gunalayena vishajjatas tatpurushaprasangah
तस्यैव मे सौहृदसख्यमैत्रीदास्यं पुनर्जन्मनि जन्मनि स्यात्।
महानुभावेन गुणालयेन विषज्जतस्तत्पुरुषप्रसङ्गः॥
In birth after birth, may I have his affection, friendship, closeness and the chance to serve him. And may I have the company of his devotees, attached to that great-hearted home of all virtues.
What it means
After receiving everything, Sudama asks only for friendship to continue. The best wealth is a bond with good people that lasts. Such friendships are worth more than any gold.हिंदी में अर्थ
जन्म-जन्म तक मुझे उनका स्नेह, मित्रता, अपनापन और सेवा का अवसर मिले। और उन सब गुणों के धाम महानुभाव से जुड़े उनके भक्तों की संगति मिले।
सब कुछ पाकर भी सुदामा केवल मित्रता जारी रहने की माँग करते हैं। सबसे बड़ा धन अच्छे लोगों से ऐसा संबंध है जो टिका रहे।
