Srimad Bhagavatam 10.81.3 meaning

kim upayanam aneetam brahman me bhavata grihat anv apy upahritam bhaktaih premna bhoory eva me bhavet bhoory apy abhakt-opahritam na me toshaya kalpate

Brahmin, what gift have you brought me from home? Even a tiny thing offered by devotees with love becomes huge for me, while even a great deal offered without love does not please me.

What it means
Sudama is embarrassed by his handful of rice, but Krishna values love, not price. The size of a gift matters far less than the heart behind it.

Spoken by Krishna.
