Look how noble the lives of these trees are! They live entirely for the good of all creatures. Like generous people, no one who comes to them in need ever goes away empty-handed.
What it means
Krishna points to trees as role models: shade, fruit, wood, shelter, all given freely. Nature teaches generosity without fuss. Be like a tree for the people who come to you.
Spoken by Krishna.
