Srimad Bhagavatam 10.1.38 meaning

mrityur janmavatam veera dehena saha jayate adya v-abdashatante va mrityur vai praninam dhruvah

Brave one, death is born along with the body of everyone who is born. Whether today or after a hundred years, death is certain for every living being.

What it means
Vasudeva reminds the furious Kamsa that no one escapes death, so killing out of fear is pointless. Remembering that life is short can make us kinder and less driven by panic.

Spoken by Vasudeva.
