Srimad Bhagavatam 1.6.23 meaning

sakrid yad darshitam roopam etat kamaya tenagha matkamah shanakaih sadhu sarvan munchati hrichchayan

I showed you this form just once, sinless one, to awaken your longing for me. One who longs for me slowly lets go of all the desires lodged in the heart.

What it means
A glimpse of something higher can reset what you want. You do not drop old cravings by fighting them, but by finding a deeper love that slowly makes them lose their grip.

Spoken by Vishnu.
