Bhagavad Gita 8.26 meaning
shuklakrishne gatee hy-ete jagatah shashvate mate
ekaya yaty-anavrittim anyayavartate punah
These two paths of the world, the bright and the dark, are considered eternal. By one, a person goes and does not return; by the other, a person comes back again.
What it means
Two directions are always open: towards light and freedom, or back into the cycle. Every day we lean a little one way or the other through the choices we make and the things we cling to.How it helps in real life
- Big decisions: Weekend choice between a late-night party and an early hike with family? Notice which way leads toward light, and choose consciously.
- Phone & habits: Every night you choose scrolling over sleep? Tonight lean toward the better path: phone off at ten, a book instead.
Spoken by Krishna.
