Bhagavad Gita 8.2 meaning
adhiyajnah katham kotra dehesmin madhusoodana
prayanakale cha katham jneyosi niyatatmabhih
Madhusudana, who is the lord of sacrifice here in this body, and how does he dwell in it? And at the time of death, how can those with a disciplined mind know you?
What it means
Arjuna asks what really lives inside us and how to stay clear at life's final moment. These are questions about what lasts. Thinking honestly about death can help us live more mindfully now.How it helps in real life
- In grief: A friend's sudden death made you think about your own life? Write down what you'd want to have lived for, and start one item.
- Big decisions: Stuck in a career that feels empty? Ask yourself what truly lasts, then choose one change this month that moves you toward it.
Spoken by Arjuna.
