Bhagavad Gita 7.9 meaning
punyo gandhah prithivyam cha tejash chasmi vibhavasau
jeevanam sarvabhooteshu tapash chasmi tapasvishu
पुण्यो गन्धः पृथिव्यां च तेजश्चास्मि विभावसौ।
जीवनं सर्वभूतेषु तपश्चास्मि तपस्विषु॥
I am the pure fragrance of the earth and the brilliance in fire. I am the life in all living beings and the discipline in those who practise austerity.

मैं पृथ्वी में पवित्र सुगंध हूँ और अग्नि में तेज हूँ। मैं सब प्राणियों में जीवन हूँ और तपस्वियों में तप हूँ।
बारिश के बाद मिट्टी की खुशबू, लौ की चमक, जीवित शरीर की साँस और अनुशासित व्यक्ति की लगन, सबमें ईश्वर की एक चिंगारी है।
