Bhagavad Gita 6.37 meaning
ayatih shraddhay-opeto yogach chalitamanasah
aprapya yogasansiddhim kam gatim krishna gachchati
Krishna, what happens to someone who has faith but does not try hard enough, whose mind slips away from yoga before reaching its goal?
What it means
Arjuna asks a deeply human question: what if I start the journey and fall short? Is all that effort wasted? Many people quit for fear of exactly this. How it helps in real life
- After a setback: Missed three weeks of your gym plan and want to quit? Your effort isn't wasted; go back for just one session tomorrow.
- Studies & exams: Started learning Sanskrit but slipped off after a month? Don't restart from zero; open the book at the last chapter you did.
Spoken by Arjuna.
