Bhagavad Gita 6.10 meaning
yogee yunjeeta satatam atmanam rahasi sthitah
ekakee yatachittatma nirasheer aparigrahah
A yogi should keep the mind constantly focused on the Self, staying in a quiet place alone, with mind and body under control, free of expectations and of the urge to hoard.
What it means
Make room for regular solitude. A little quiet time alone, without phones, wishes or to-do lists, lets you meet yourself. That is where real meditation starts. How it helps in real life
- Every day: Never get a moment alone in a busy joint family home? Wake fifteen minutes before everyone and sit quietly on the terrace.
- Phone & habits: Even your walks are filled with podcasts and calls? Take one evening walk this week with no phone, no earphones, just yourself.
Spoken by Krishna.
