Bhagavad Gita 5.6 meaning
sannyasas tu mahabaho duhkham aptum ayogatah
yogayukto munir brahma nachirenadhigachchati
But giving up action, Arjuna, is hard to achieve without the yoga of action. The sage who is steady in yoga reaches Brahman without delay.
What it means
You cannot skip straight to detachment. Letting go comes naturally after learning to work without selfishness. Practise unselfish action first; inner freedom will follow sooner than you expect. How it helps in real life
- At work: Trying to 'not care' about your job overnight? Instead, practise doing one task a day for the team's good, not credit.
- In love & marriage: Want to stop being clingy in your relationship? Start by doing one small thing for your partner daily without expecting anything back.
Spoken by Krishna.
