The wise see with an equal eye a learned and humble brahmin, a cow, an elephant, a dog and even one who eats dogs.
What it means
True wisdom sees the same sacred life in every being, whatever their status, species or background. Labels and social rank fade away. Treat everyone, human or animal, with equal dignity and respect. How it helps in real life
- Helping others: Rude to delivery boys but polite to your boss? Today, offer the Swiggy rider water and thank him the way you'd thank your manager.
- As a parent: Your kid shoos away a street dog in fear. Show them how to gently offer food and water, and talk about respecting every life.
