Bhagavad Gita 4.8 meaning
paritranaya sadhoonam vinashaya cha dushkritam
dharmasansthapan-arthaya sambhavami yuge yuge
To protect the good, to put an end to those who do harm, and to set dharma firmly in place again, I come into being age after age.
What it means
The divine is on the side of those who live honestly and kindly. Harm does not get the final word. Each age gets what it needs to restore balance, so keep doing what is right even when it feels lonely. How it helps in real life
- At work: The only one at work refusing to fudge numbers and feeling alone? Keep doing the right thing, and document everything carefully.
- When you feel alone: Feel foolish for being honest when cheats seem to win? Remind yourself harm doesn't get the last word, and stay the course.
Spoken by Krishna.
