Bhagavad Gita · Jnana Karma Sannyasa Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 4.4 meaning
aparam bhavato janma param janma vivasvatah
katham etad vijaneeyam tvam adau proktavan iti
Arjuna said: You were born recently, and Vivasvan was born long ago. How am I to understand that you taught this to him at the beginning?
What it means
Arjuna does not just nod along; he asks an honest question when something does not add up. Doubting openly and asking clearly is not disrespect. It is how real understanding begins. How it helps in real life
- Studies & exams: Didn't understand the professor's explanation but too shy to ask? Raise your hand or email them today; good questions show respect.
- At work: The new process makes no sense to you? Ask your manager politely to walk you through the reasoning before you follow it blindly.
Spoken by Arjuna.
