Bhagavad Gita · Jnana Karma Sannyasa Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 4.38 meaning
na hi jnanena sadrisham pavitram iha vidyate
tat svayam yogasansiddhah kalenatmani vindati
In this world there is nothing as purifying as knowledge. One who is perfected in yoga finds it within, in their own time.
What it means
The deepest understanding is not bought or borrowed; it ripens inside you with steady practice. Be patient. What you are looking for may already be growing within, waiting for its season. How it helps in real life
- Studies & exams: Frustrated that you still don't 'get' calculus after weeks? Keep practising daily; understanding often clicks suddenly, in its own time.
- Every day: Six weeks into morning meditation and feel nothing? Don't quit; keep your ten minutes daily, and let it ripen slowly.
Spoken by Krishna.
