Bhagavad Gita · Jnana Karma Sannyasa Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 4.31 meaning
yajnashishtamritabhujo yanti brahma sanatanam
nayam lokosty-ayajnasya kutonyah kurusattama
Those who enjoy the nectar left over from sacrifice reach the eternal Brahman. Arjuna, best of the Kurus, even this world is not for one who never sacrifices; how could any other be?
What it means
A life of only taking feels empty, even here and now. Joy comes from receiving after you have given. Share, serve and contribute first; what remains will taste far sweeter.
Spoken by Krishna.
