Bhagavad Gita 3.42 meaning
indriyani parany-ahur indriyebhyah param manah
manasas tu para buddhir yo buddheh paratas tu sah
The senses are said to be powerful; the mind is higher than the senses; the intellect is higher than the mind; and higher than the intellect is the Self.
What it means
There's a ladder inside you: senses, mind, reasoning, and deepest of all, your true Self. When you live from that deepest level, the lower ones naturally fall into line.
Spoken by Krishna.
