Bhagavad Gita 3.35 meaning
shreyan svadharmo vigunah paradharmat svanushthitat
svadharme nidhanam shreyah paradharmo bhayavahah
It is better to follow your own duty, even imperfectly, than to do someone else's duty well. Even dying in your own duty is better; another's path is full of danger.
What it means
Living someone else's life, even successfully, feels hollow and risky. Your own path, with all its flaws, is where you truly belong. Stop comparing, and walk the road that's genuinely yours.
Spoken by Krishna.
