Bhagavad Gita 2.66 meaning
nasti buddhir ayuktasya na chayuktasya bhavana
na chabhavayatah shantir ashantasya kutah sukham
One who is not self-disciplined has no steady understanding and no deep reflection. Without reflection there is no peace, and without peace, how can there be happiness?
What it means
Happiness rests on peace, peace rests on reflection, and reflection needs a settled mind. Without some inner discipline, we keep chasing happiness in places it can't be found. How it helps in real life
- Phone & habits: Wondering why weekends feel empty despite non-stop scrolling? Block one hour on Sunday for a quiet walk without your phone.
- When you feel alone: Feeling restless and unhappy in your new Dubai job? Before blaming the city, spend fifteen minutes each night reflecting in a journal.
Spoken by Krishna.
